How do Kia Dealer Websites fit into the Kia Dealer Dealer Services program?
Dealer Services 2 first programs have rolled out - leads and training. The whole premise is to provide programs to dealers with powerful marketing programs to increase sales and profitability. Through Kia's ability to provide dealer with lower cost marketing services - designed to increase sales and profitability by decreasing costs and increasing efficiency for dealer marketing program.
What is the value of participating in the Kia Dealer Websites program?
- Kia Dealer website leads are routed through lead marketplace to take advantage of scrubbing capabilities, resulting in better quality leads to Kia dealers
- Program integration increases efficiencies by reducing the number of duplicate and incomplete website leads
- Website lead duplication can be minimized resulting in savings for both Kia and its dealers

What is the difference between the former Kia website program and the new Kia Dealer Websites program?
All Kia Dealers who enroll or are already enrolled will get:
- New, industry leading inventory solution. Kia is the first group to receive this latest release from Cobalt.
- New Kia endorsed designs and layouts
- The Kia Essentials and Plus website packages provide you with $500 in value in just additional features alone (does not include designs or new inventory)
- Website reporting tool and phone call tracking ($350 value)
- Inventory import tool ($100 value)
- Email a friend ($50 value)
- Premium Bundle offers all of the above above plus not just one core website but a whole additional website for Pre-Owned ($1000 value)

I already have a website that is not part of the Kia Dealer Websites program - why would I want an additional website?
You wouldn't! The Kia Dealer Websites program contains multiple design and package options designed to provide a wide range of flexibility for dealers. This is the only website you need, and there are distinct benefits for dealers participating in the Kia Dealer Websites program including:
- Content updates that sync with Kia specials, vehicle promotions and offers
- Ability to use IDA funds for monthly website fees
- Integration with the Kia leads program
Can I get IDA / co-op funds from Kia for using the Kia Dealer website?
Yes! Kia provides IDA/co-op funds with no monthly limit for dealers who participate in the Kia Dealer Website program. This is the only website that is eligible for IDA fund reimbursement.

I currently have a Cobalt website, how do I get the new Kia Dealer Website?
If you are a current Cobalt customer, you will be receiving a new Kia Dealer Website before July 30th. Migrate to an existing There will be communications sent to your dealership explaining the details of the process. You do not need to enroll in the program.
What is the timeline for enrollment?
The enrollment period begins on May 21st 2008 and continues through June 30th 2008. Priority is given to dealers enrolled before June 13, 2008. See details below.
What happens if I do not enroll by June 13th?
Any dealers who enroll in the Kia Dealer Websites program by June 13th will have their new website activated by July 30th. We want to ensure there is adequate time to build your websites with current content that is tailored to fit your dealership branding message. However, program enrollment will stay open through June 30th.
I currently have a Cobalt website with features that are not included in the new bundles, what will happen to those features?
You will not lose those features. Cobalt will be including them in your new Kia Dealer website package at no additional charge.
How do I enroll in the Kia Dealer Website solution? Can I enroll over the phone?

What kind of training is available and how much does it cost?
Cobalt provides both virtual classroom and web-based training for all of your website products. Go to: https://cobaltu.centra.com to find out more information and to enroll.
When will I have my new site?
The earlier you enroll the better. All dealers who enroll in the program by June13th 2008 will have their new websites live by the 30th of July.
The domain name associated with my Kia website is not hosted by Cobalt. Do I need to take any action?
If the domain name associated with your Kia dealer website is not hosted by Cobalt, please contact the third party provider hosting the domain notifying them of your interest in changing the company hosting your website. If you have any questions or would like eCare to assist you, please call eCare at 1-866-251-1300.
Will there be any downtime for my existing website during the migration?
No. You will not experience any downtime on your site. Your customers will be directed to your current website, while your new website is being built; then your customers will be directed to your new website when it goes live.
Will I have access to the products I was previously using on my website?
Yes. In most cases, the products associated with the old program will still be available. If you've upgraded to a higher-level package, you will also see those applicable services and tools also become available to you.
Will my dealership be linked on the Kia.com dealer locator if I have a Cobalt website?
Yes, as long as you have a compliant website per Kia's Website Standards and Guidelines, you are eligible to be linked to the Kia.com dealer locator.
Can I make changes to my Kia Dealer website?
Yes. Dealers that have an active Kia Dealer website have access to Cobalt's Website Manager tool. Website Manager allows you to easily make changes to your existing website 24 x 7, , such as banner ads. The only exception is select areas of the site that Kia has dedicated to corporate content.
Are the new designs Search Engine friendly?
Absolutely! The Kia Dealer websites are built on Cobalt's newest website platform, which is designed to have search engines pick up the content of the homepage, navigation, ALT tags and keywords within the site. This allows search engines to follow links to interior pages and to index all site content.
Product Support and Training
How do I keep my pre-owned inventory updated?
The best rule of thumb in keeping inventory updated is to ensure that your DMS data is up-to-date and in sync with the inventory of any third party you might also use, such as DealerSpecialties or Autobase.
